Step 2 - Remove the Scratches:

Step Two is usually done with medium (220) grit which is particles of about 1/8 millimeter diameter. The smaller grit particles cut more slowly than coarse grit. This step does very little shaping or rounding of the rocks. It is done mainly to remove any scratches in the rocks left by the 60/90 grit.

Graded Silicon Carbide 220 - a carefully graded mixture of 220 to meet your abrasive needs. Step Two grit is used in the second step in the rock tumbling process to begin the removal of scratches as a result of step one.
