Each rune set contains a total of 25 hand-selected genuine, highly polished gemstones that have been tumble-polished to bring out their natural beauty. Each set includes 24 carved runes and 1 blank rune, each rune is approximately 3/4" - 1" in size. The carved runes are engraved and adorned by hand with the runic symbols of the Elder Futhark (the oldest form of the runic alphabet).

Runic divination, often referred to as "runecasting", is not "fortune-telling". Runecasting works deeply with the subconscious mind. The rune pouch with its runic symbols represents the entire universe. As one poses a question, one's entire conscious and unconscious mind is focused toward that question so that the runelots selected are not random selections but rather choices made by the subconscious mind.

When one does a runic reading one usually addresses a particular issue or question through an evaluation process by examining what has occured in the past (regarding the issue being questioned), the present (what is occurring right now), and the future (the direction one is headed or path one appears to be on), which is perceived as changeable.

A runecaster does not see the future. He/she simply examines cause and effect and points out a likely outcome. Runecasting is a method to examine the path one is on and what the effects might be, by making use of one's subconscious mind and intuitive perceptions.

Tigereye is a solar stone of vitality, practicality, and physical action. Tigereye is a stone of mental clarity. It activates and whets the intellect, sharpening the sword of logic.
