Amegreen - MD

Amegreen is a combination of purple amethyst and a leek-green variety of amethyst known as prasiolite. Amethyst is a macrocrystalline variety of quartz; a violet coloration is due to trace impurities of iron and aluminum, and a green coloration is derived from heating of the violet crystals. Prasiolite is rare, and Amegreen even rarer. Amegreen crystals grow in conjuction with white quartz.
